My 100th Day Cake for Class

Posted by My Little Corner of Savings at 4:31 PM

I just wanted to share the cake that I made for my daughter's 1st grade class on their 100th day celebration.

I used 2 round 9" pans and 1 loaf pan with 2 cake mixes. I could probley have used 1 but I also made the family a loaf pan cake, which was very yummy!

After the cakes were cooled I cut an oval in both of the round pans to make a 0 and then I justed used a ruler to trim the loaf to make it look like a 1.

Now one problem I did run into was finding a box with a top large enough to use for this so what I did was I took a foam tri fold board like the one you use for Science projects and cut it to fit then I folded the sides of the board up to form the sides and saran wrapped the top and sides. It worked great!

I hope everyone has a great day today and now I am off to my Ebay business to do some listing, here is a link if you want to check it out I have all kinds of things in there!
